TEL AVIV — On Sunday night, Hamas took responsibility for a bombing that reverberated through Tel Aviv, coinciding with Secretary of State Antony Blinken's arrival to advocate for a U.S.-supported cease-fire initiative in Gaza. He characterized this moment as possibly the final opportunity to bring stability back to the Middle East.
“This is a pivotal moment — likely the best, perhaps the last, chance to secure the release of hostages, achieve a cease-fire, and guide all parties toward lasting peace and security,” Blinken stated on Monday, in the presence of Israeli President Isaac Herzog.
